Your journey · Second look

An analysis exists. You want a second read before signing.

A report is on the table: yours, a firm's, or the one the seller provided. It concludes, it may reassure. It also has an author, an angle and habits.

What is at stake right now.

Every analysis carries the point of view of whoever produced it. The seller's sells; yours has your blind spots; a firm's depends on what it was asked to look at.

The risk: signing on a conclusion nobody has challenged.

What Diligeo brings at this stage.

The second opinion: each conclusion of the existing analysis is tested against the documents, then classed as confirmed, qualified or contradicted. You know where the analysis holds, and where it rests on an assumption.

The second opinion does not redo the analysis: it puts it to the test. It is a shorter exercise, so it is delivered fast, at a lower flat fee.

The second opinion in detail

What we do not do at this stage.

  • We do not redo the analysis from scratch: that is a different exercise, on a different fee schedule.
  • We do not issue opinions without the documents needed to verify: the analysis alone is not enough.
  • We do not decide for you: the second opinion informs the signature, it does not replace it.

The next step.

Send the analysis and the documents it relies on. Each conclusion will come back confirmed, qualified or contradicted.
